Op-Ed on the role of academics in achieving the SDGs published to kickstart Global Colleagues partnership with Ideas 4 Development

Global Colleagues has entered a partnership with Ideas 4 Development (ID4D), the blog coordinated by the Agence Française de Développement. As part of this partnership, participants of Global Colleagues are invited publish blog posts. Members of the management team (Ruth Blackshaw, Robert Lepenies, Henrieke Max) recently published the first instalment: “Why we need independent critique to achieve the SDGs: the role of academics” – or see the French translation: “La critique indépendante des universitaires au service des ODD”. In it, the authors make a case for why and how academics should get involved in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The Global Colleagues team looks forward to more posts  and exchanges and invites colleagues who are interested in publishing a blog to contact us!
